Maverick Announces March Driver of the Month (4/27/09)

Maverick Transportation announced driver Josh Keller of Little Rock, Arkansas as their Driver of the Month for March 2009. Keller has been a Maverick driver for three years and has spent almost four years as a professional truck driver.
“Josh is truly an asset to Maverick,” said Fleet Manager Lea Anne Lindsey. “He has a great attitude, is a hard worker, and has one of the best MPGs in the entire Maverick fleet.”
The third recipient of twelve Drivers of the Month for 2009, Keller has proven himself a leader in the company’s fleet. He rates among the best in his fleet for performance numbers, is a Driver Instructor, and also received the coveted “maroon marauder” award pin from a fellow driver.
Keller attributes his longevity and success at Maverick to the people that he works that give him a true feeling of “being at home.”
Every month Maverick recognizes a driver from the company’s fleet who takes pride in his profession and the company, employs safety, and maintains Maverick standards in all they do. Employees vote from the twelve Drivers of the Month and the Driver of the Year will be announced at the end of 2009. As Driver of the Month, Keller will also represent Maverick drivers on the prestigious Driver Advisory Council.
