Maverick Transportation announced Mac Freese of Pangburn, AR, as their Driver of the Month for April 2008. Freese has been with Maverick for almost 3 years and his entire professional driving career has been with Maverick.

"Mac continuously shows his pride in being a professional truck driver at Maverick,” said Fleet Operations Manager David Peak. “He puts forth a great deal of effort to maintain good MPG, keep out of route low, and service our valuable customers."

The fourth recipient of Driver of the Month honors for 2008, Freese has proven himself a leader in the company’s fleet and attributes his longevity and success at Maverick to both the top of the line equipment and the people he works with.


Every month Maverick recognizes a driver from the company’s fleet who takes pride in his profession and the company, employs safety, and maintains Maverick standards in all they do. Employees vote from the twelve Drivers of the Month and the Driver of the Year will be announced at the end of 2008. As Driver of the Month, Freese will also represent Maverick drivers on the prestigious Driver Advisory Council.
